Corel Bundle on sale - includes PSP 2020 Ultimate

HumbleBundle has another Corel bundle on sale, valued at $998, selling for $25US. I paid $38.64AU for the full bundle.

It includes 6 full version Corel apps, one being PSP 2020 Ultimate in Tier 2, plus 4 brush packs.
Over 4400 already sold in first few hours. 13 days left.

I've bought many bundles from HumbleBundle, including bundles that contained Corel apps, and never had a problem. They send out an email immediately and the linked webpage includes the keys, links for downloading and redemption instructions.
PSP 2020 installed with no issues for me, it registered, and I received registration email from Corel.

The full bundle includes 3 Tiers.
You can purchase just Tier 1, or Tier 1 and 2, or Tier 1, 2 and 3.

Yes, thank you. I am normally somewhat sceptical about such offers, especially when there is a monthly charge included. However, recently I have been keen to try out Pinnacle Studio 23 in particular, but unwilling to part with the money. So I was very tempted by this US$25 offer. The fact that it comes with a one year old version of Painter was also an attraction, since in the past I have made do with the Painter Essentials 5 & 6 which have come with PSP Ultimate.

Anyway, I went for it, and as you say, the company appears to have provided both legitimate download links for everything as well as genuine serial numbers. Everything I wanted in that bundle -- well almost! -- is now running well.

The exception is Particle Shop. I have written elsewhere here about my difficulty in installing Particle Shop on my main computer. The installation file I have had for several years always gets to 41% and then refuses to go further, returning an Error message that the file is (likely) corrupt. Yet the same file installs perfectly on my other computers running exactly the same version of Win 10. So I thought this Bundled version and new serial number might do that trick. But no, I get exactly the same error message at 41%...

Otherwise I am quite happy, and even prepared to tolerate the monthly charge until I see what new Bundles are offered. Hopefully, if I am not attracted to it, the suggested method of cancelling the monthly charge will actually work.

Hi Ken,

I think that you misunderstood about the HumbleBundle monthly charge. You didn't need to accept that. It's for getting other stuff free from HB monthly, as far as I can tell, like games. I paid only the 25$ US for only the Corel package, no monthly charge.

Interesting that they claim that they have partnered with Corel in providing those programs. I wonder if this is because Corels marketing uptake of PSP 2020 has not been what they expected. I note also some sale reductions for PSP 2020 less than 2 months after it has been released so again has the uptake been poor.
I have not purchased it this time and again may not as I do not see anything that is really worth an update. They still have not fixed the Crop tool, so I still go back to X9 for any operations requiring the crop.

Ken, you mistook about the monthly charge. I guess I should have mentioned that option.
That is a games bundle each month and after the 1st month I think it will jump to $10 or more as an auto subscription so make sure you go in and cancel it.
I have never subscribed to their monthly games. I buy bundles only.
That is a different option they run besides the apps and games bundles like this Corel one.

Corel has participated in previous bundles with them. I got PSP 2019 last year in a bundle at HumbleBundle. If I recall that one was called a Photographers Bundle.
PSP was in Tier 2 at a cost of approx. $14.
Many companies do it.
I think this is my 4th or 5th App bundle and I've purchased many game bundles.

Yes, all their sales are genuine software. They partner with companies every few weeks to make app and game bundles.
I've got hundreds of apps and games from them and never had a problem.
For me, I think this one has been the best bundle so far.

I thought it was too good a deal not to share with others. I see now they have sold over 12,600 and this is only the 2nd day.

Thanks for the hint, though the message I get is that the installation package -- two quite different ones, including the original from 2016 -- is corrupt, not Windows System files. But I still ran the System File Check. It said it detected a number of corrupt files, but couldn't correct them all. I looked at the log file but frankly couldn't understand it, let alone see what might be used to correct any uncorrected corruptions.

I also ran the Particle Shop installation again, including as an Administrator, but again it bombed out at 41%...
