Ok SO the silly little 'rubber band' thang - which ive never been a fan of.
Please tell me. When you right-click on the sound clip - up pops Volumne Control...whereby it allows you to reduce sound from 100. So - question I have is..and I have messed about with it....IF I reduce the sound from 100 to ..say...level 15....will that show up on my final video?
I can see that when you do reduce the that sound level from 100...it does reduce the sound...but is that for the final MP4 clip? ..or just for your benefit as you edit your clips?
REDUCE your sound clips!!!

Yes the sound reduction using the rubber band method carries over into the finished rendered video. In fact, I use it almost exclusively and find it gives me excellent control. And of course you can move the key points up and down as you like while editing until satisfied with the overall balance.

Re: REDUCE your sound clips!!!
No sorry didn't mean that. Im aware of the rubber band reduction ( personally I think its terrible ) however my question was, right-click on the sound click and 'volume control' is one of the options. It is auto set at 100....if I reduce that...it seems to effect the rubber band ( the long line across it - seems to move downward )….but I don't know what that actually means or does?
By right clicking and reducing the Volume from 100 to...say..15....IT DOES reduce the sound when I play the clip...but I want to know how it will effect my overall sound once I render.

Well, if you think about it, if it didn't reduce the sound volume to your set level when rendered, what's the point in changing it in the first place, anyway, you only need to render to find out

You always hear the overall sound and this should be rendered as well. The overall volume can be different but the relations remain as you set on the audio tracks.garjobo123 wrote:No sorry didn't mean that.
