I have several DivX video files that i want to burn on DVD and MF4 always resample them and make them 5 times bigger so i no longer can burn them on single DVD. Can i prevent resampling, because I'm ok with their original format and quality. I use MF4 and "create video DVD"option, since i want to add a menu that will be playable on stand-alone dvd players.
Thanks for help
can i prevent resampling of video files?

DVD movie or data DVD?
You actually have two options:
divx files have a different file structure and codec than those produced for DVD movies (the classic .vob files which are usually mpeg2 files). so if such files were imported into a DVD movie no DVD reader would be able to decode them.
so
option number one is to let DMV recode them and make them playable before you burn the DVD
option number two is to create a normal Data DVD including all the divx files you can fit, and let a PC DVD player or a divx capable set-top DVD player handle them.. In this case, obviously, you loose the option of creating menus and stuff. You basically only have a data disc with multiple files.
hope this is useful to you
