Been a member here for a long time...every few weeks I drop in and read through some of the discussion
(when I don't have something specific to look for)
...
Not everyone is a "forum poster".
Some like to hang around and learn from those in the know.
I run two of my own forums and know this as a fact.
Like most forums, there are more "lurkers" than posters.
It doesn't hurt the forum to have members who don't post.
...
Some members like to search for the information they need...
rather than starting/wasting another thread asking a question thats already been answered.
FYI Most productive forums ask that you do this before adding pointless posts!
...
Demanding that members post just invites useless chatter and spamming.
Threatening to remove members that don't post does NOT promote posting activity.
Members who don't post aren't spamming...so claims that your "zero post policy" helps control spamming is utterly ridiculous! lol
...
Sounds more like a clique of boorish people just trying to weed out anyone they deem to be "uninvited".
If this board is run by Corel itself, then shame on you for being a bunch of elitist snobs.
...
This post might fulfill my obligation to be considered as a member of this board.
However, I have no interest in being considered a member any more.
There are plenty of other forums that invite members to share in the knowledge and information they provide
without demanding they join the "clique" by posting something just to fit in.
...
Good luck surviving if you start deleting all your members! LMAO

Re: zero posts policy
Hi
Access to the forums is the same whether you are a registered member or not.
All can access and read all topics, use the search features etc. there is no advantage registering if you do not intend to post
The only restriction is if you wish to post you are required to register, I do not see any problem with that.
You can easily check that by signing out, then view the forums.
Most of this months selections are intent on using the forums as a means of free advertising including pornography, not on this Forum
I can go through each member to check individual profiles to separate the good, bad and ugly, nope takes to long to do that.
Most of the good guys have already posted.
and no we do not work for Corel
