Do any of you "oldies" recall how to do a Propagate Paste in Jasc Animation Shop?
This is what I've tried so far:
I insert a new frame with a new image on it (that I want to add to the other open animation frames)
I click the Arrow tool to select my new image.
I go to Edit>Propagate Paste but nothing happens.
( tried holding down Ctrl as well but that didn't change anything either - maybe the sequence wasn't right)
I know this works on Windows 10 because I did it last year, but didn't bother to take notes. There is some step or key combination that I am omitting.
Does anyone remember what the magic combination is?

Re: Ye Olde JASC Animation Shop Question
I've had Animation Shop as Long as I've had PSP7. Aside from some playing with it 20 years ago (details forgotten), I've done nothing with it.Linda Lou wrote:Do any of you "oldies" recall how to do a Propagate Paste in Jasc Animation Shop?

As for the malware, given the complaints I've read, it looks like the PSP 2019 and 2020 users are as bombarded as we PSP 2018 users are. It's as Corel thing, I think, and Corel has just released PSP 2020.
Had PS3, PSP3; Installed: PSP-4.12, 5.03, 6.02, 7.04 (liked it a lot & used it for years), 8.00, XI, x4.3.0.3, x6.2.0.20, x7.4.0.11, x8.3.0.13, x9.2.0.7; now using PSPx10 (PSP 2018; version 20.2.0.1 x64) on Win 10-64 b2004.

Re: Ye Olde JASC Animation Shop Question
I still use Animation Shop 3.11, but have never used Propagate Paste.
There is no Help available any more, not surprising, considering the age of the program!
Not a lot of help, sorry.
If you want to add extra frames, do it in PSP first, etc etc. but you know all that

Re: Ye Olde JASC Animation Shop Question
Joelle,
Wow! That is exactly what I needed. You must have used a different search engine from the one I used. I was coming up with instructional videos on how to create animations, but nothing about that specific process. I had a feeling I was missing one little step. Yes, it was COPY between selecting the frame and running Propagate Paste. You made my day! Thank you!
------------------------
Edit:
I wasn't able to do it the way described in the video. (Maybe the fault of Windows 10 1903?) However, for anyone who might be using this topic for research, I was able to Use the Arrow tool to Select the first frame that I had inserted>Edit>Copy>Edit>Select All>Edit>Propagate Paste> hold down Ctrl and drag the image into all frames, Ctrl must be released before the mouse button is released or the copied images won't "stick".
It was a convoluted way to do it, but I was able to edit two videos that way. Maybe this way will work until until Windows 10 does another Feature Update.
