Hi.
I'm having an issue with PSP 2020 (version 22.0.0.132 x64) on Windows 10. When I launch the application, it always starts the program maximized. I've checked all the short cut properties to make sure they were configured to start with a normal window. They are.
My screen size is 3440 x 1440. Any idea on how to get PSP to start with a non-maximized window?
Thanks

Re: PSP 2020 always starts maximized
Have you tried opening PSP, reducing the size with the middle button top right 'Restore Down'
Then use File > Exit to close the program. Wait about 10 seconds til it is unloaded from memory, then restart the program. In 2019 it at least opens to that restored down size. Maybe 2020 is different.

Yup. Tried various ways of exiting after "restore down" and sizing the window as I want.
I'm still in trial mode, so I get the nag screen on exit.

Re: PSP 2020 always starts maximized
I have the full version of PSP 2020, and hartpaul's suggestion worked for me. Mind you, I have no problem with PSP opening full screen. I have a full 4K 32" monitor, but never really thought about opening PSP in anything but full screen before.

Re: PSP 2020 always starts maximized
Re- Trevor's suggestion: shortcuts to every app in Windows has a Context (right-click) Menu with Properties at the bottom. Select that and there is a box inside the dialogue window. If you left-click on the box, you will be offered a choice of how you want to open the app: Minimized, Maximized, and Normal Window. Take your pick. I like Maximized, but I was an adult when personal computers first came out. There were no partial-screen "windows" back then.
Had PS3, PSP3; Installed: PSP-4.12, 5.03, 6.02, 7.04 (liked it a lot & used it for years), 8.00, XI, x4.3.0.3, x6.2.0.20, x7.4.0.11, x8.3.0.13, x9.2.0.7; now using PSPx10 (PSP 2018; version 20.2.0.1 x64) on Win 10-64 b2004.

Re: PSP 2020 always starts maximized
ehume -- the problem with that, though, is that when you use hartpaul's suggested method, PSP opens as a smaller window regardless of what you have set in that Properties box. I just tried it and got that result regardless of whether that box showed "Normal window" or "Maximized"... The only way I could get a full screen version was to maximize PSP from the smaller window while it was open; then close it and reopen it. Moreover, when it reopened full screen, that box was reading "Normal window" and not "Maximized"...

Re: PSP 2020 always starts maximized
I have a monitor 1680 x 1050
PSP opens in the last view set, that is as I close the program irrespective of the Property settings Maximize, Normal or Minimized.
I also resized the workstation which then opened using the custom size, again Maximize, Normal or Minimized did not appear to have any effect,
