Blu-Ray Payment ???

I bought VideoStudio Ultimate 2018. When I try to burn a Blu-Ray disk it asks me to pay 7.49 euros. Why is that?
I never had problems with previous releases.

Since VSX8, it has been necessary to purchase the Blu- ray plugin, the reason given by Corel is that very few users need the Blu-ray plugin, so why should all users be charged more for the product for a plugin they don't want.This way only users who need Blu-ray, pay extra

So RobertOZ if I buy the Blu-ray plug in and upgrade to 2019 will I have to buy it again?

To be honest, I am not sure, however if you click on Help, the Dropdown menu includes a Restore Purchase tab, this is supposed to restore to the current version, plugins previously purchased from Corel, this should include the Blu-ray plugin, but you would need to contact Tech Support for confirmation, Trevor or Ken may also be able to answer you

I assume that it is a one off payment and that Restore Purchase would allow the 2018 version to work with 2019, unfortunately I cannot be 100% sure of that, always been a bit of a grey area.

Updating to 2019
Corel has removed Digital Dolby support when using Windows 7
If you are using W7 as your profile shows then any video using Digital Dolby will not play audio.
Using Windows 10 Digital Dolby is supported but only Stereo not Surround Sound.
Of course this may influence your decision to install Corel Video Studio 2019

I queried the Restore Purchases with Corel and this was their reply indicating that only one purchase is required.
