Pasting selection into 360 image
I love being able to remove the tripod from my 360 images, but is there a way to paste a selection/image into one? I want to replace my tripod with my logo.

Re: Pasting selection into 360 image
I have heard about 360 images lately. I know we can wrap regular images around in a circle, but is that all a 360-degree image is?iantresman wrote:I love being able to remove the tripod from my 360 images, but is there a way to paste a selection/image into one? Had PS3, PSP3; Installed: PSP-4.12, 5.03, 6.02, 7.04 (liked it a lot & used it for years), 8.00, XI, x4.3.0.3, x6.2.0.20, x7.4.0.11, x8.3.0.13, x9.2.0.7; now using PSPx10 (PSP 2018; version 20.2.0.1 x64) on Win 10-64 b2004.

Unfortunately, it is a little more complicated than that. See the article: PANORAMIC IMAGE PROJECTIONS
It would be much better if Paintshop could just switch the "projection", and enable the option of viewing in 360-deg mode, where you can move the image around. That would enable all forms of image editing.

I have PSP 2018, which AFAIK does not have 360 degree imaging. What is that feature?iantresman wrote:Unfortunately, it is a little more complicated than that. See the article: PANORAMIC IMAGE PROJECTIONS

Re: Pasting selection into 360 image
It would have been nice if they had done the projection right in the main editor like Photoshop does for more advanced editing. But only the basics. I do like the little planet effect. Just wish I didn't need to add in the 360 meta data for PSP to let me use that effect. I've gotten excellent results from regular images.

Re: Pasting selection into 360 image
Editing a 360° photo in PSP (other than straightening and tripod removing) removes the 360° tag and it is no longer recognized as such.iantresman wrote:I love being able to remove the tripod from my 360 images, but is there a way to paste a selection/image into one? It would be necessary to find a third party software that reactivates the 360° tag after editing in PSP.
