Version 4 Gallery Themes

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone can advise as to why I have no themes listed under the 6 Gallery categories.

The installation did not produce any errors and the program starts fine but after finishing my image selection I select the Theme tab and it automatically uses some sort of default theme and I cannot select anything else.

I have looked in the installation directory and they do seem to have been installed.

I have exactly the same problem. No content under the pull downs but has appeared to have loaded in the correct directory. Any ideas about what is wrong.

No idea at the moment. Have sent a request to tech support, just a waiting game now.

Tried to do a search of the FAQs but when I select search I get an error page.

Looks like I'm about to experience that famous Ulead Tech Support.

Their first response was to say that they have never heard of the problem and that they did not believe me.

So I have sent some screen shots.

Anybody had experience at getting refunds from Ulead?

I really do not know anything about the internals of this product but it looks to me like the 4.0 install does not include the "index" file needed to locate the various templates. To work around the problem, I just copied the 3.0 templates in the 3.0 CONTENT directories - plus the index - to their corresponding directories under 4.0. Voila!

Further, I then downloaded the FREE GOODIES for 4.0 at
http://www.ulead.com/dps/free.htm which install 40+ new templates - correctly. They show up as a new sub- gallery - FREE DOWNLOAD. I found most of these more useful than the 3.0 stuff.

Lastly, the graphics on all templates can be edited with PhotoImpact.

I have a problem same with yours. I contacted their technical support for a fix patch and good news, they have the fix but the bad news is i lost it. So you may ask them for the patch. Good luck!
