I also tried simply copying and transferring the Perfectly Clear SE 3.5 folder from 2019 into 2020 without success. That folder contains both the 8bf file as well as a subfolder containing a number of associated dlls and other files.

And for the sake of completeness I also tried inserting in PSP 2020's Preferences > File Locations the relevant link to PSP 2018's Perfectly Clear, which of course is version 3 and not 3.5. Again did not work.
Ken,

I've started to get the same "Unable to Load... in PSP2019 Ultimate. I tried reinstalling Athentech_PerfectlyClear_2019.exe. No help. This has appeared every once in a while. I never had a handle on why. I tried rebooting. No Help. I know the File location is correct and I see the plugin. HELP PLEASE....

Tnx,

Ken,

I just figured out how to make it work again, I mean for the image file that it WOULD NOT. I open one fo the images that comes with PSP, go to PF and it works. I cancel out. Close that image. Open the very one that got me to create the last msg for your assistance and darn, it NOW works. I knew the "Can't find the plugin was bogus." I don't know why this sort of thing happens but I got that memory jog for next it does occur. PASS THIS TO OTHERS ... are they'll read my reply here. Still, if you have a handle on this quirk in PSP201U, please clue me in?

Tnx,

When you refer to 'PF' is that a typo meant to refer to Perfectly Clear or to some other third program?

I assume you mean it only works if the first image is one of the PSP images, and no other... Unfortunately, I can't test this myself since, as I said above, when I couldn't get the 2019 plug-in to work, I lashed out and bought the full version from Eye-Q, the company which bought out Athentec... But hopefully others will get it to work your way too...

Yes, I meant PC (Perfectly Clear). Having experienced this so often, and having just realized the goofy fix/restoration of sorts, if not you, perhaps someone else has experienced same with PSP2019 Perfectly Clear.

Ken, thanks for your response, though.

I installed and used Perfectly Clear in PSP 2020 without any problem, but in the latest weeks it hangs one times out of two. The plugin starts as expected, but when I press APPLY, it simply freezes PSP (32 bits version). I have to kill PSP and launch it again. Any idea if there is some config or cache to reset?
