Can I put 5.1 audio in ac3 file as background music?

I wanna make an DVD compilation with my photos and music in background.

Can I use 5.1 audio in ac3 files?

Will be good CD&DVD PictureShow 4 for this?

Pictureshow does not do AC-3 sound. It only outputs LPCM. None of the Ulead products that do AC-3 support 5.1. You really don't need Dolby for slideshows. It's not going to save you that much space on the disc.
