I am unable to toggle the small icon for the "remember text" feature. After searching all around the web, I have been unable to find any other type of setting that might have caused this icon to be permanently toggled ON. I hope someone can tell me how to toggle this to OFF. I am using Corel Paint Shop Pro x8.
Thank you.

Re: Unable to toggle "Remember text" icon
When you are ready to do some text do this
1. Click the Text tool
2. Hold the Shift key down
3. Click on your image as if to start adding text and a Text Dialog box will come up.
4. Bottom left corner untick Remember Text. Type in a few letters , click Apply and thet box closes
You should now find that the other toggle now works for on and off of remembering text.
It seems that the old Text Entry box overrides the newer settings.

Interesting: working in PSP 2028, I find I cannot ctrl-Z my way to undoing the text I laid down. I had to close without saving.
Had PS3, PSP3; Installed: PSP-4.12, 5.03, 6.02, 7.04 (liked it a lot & used it for years), 8.00, XI, x4.3.0.3, x6.2.0.20, x7.4.0.11, x8.3.0.13, x9.2.0.7; now using PSPx10 (PSP 2018; version 20.2.0.1 x64) on Win 10-64 b2004.

Re: Unable to toggle "Remember text" icon
Thank you all for your replies. This worked and now I am able to toggle using the icon on the toolbar. It was driving me nuts that I couldn't remove the text from my last image. Hopefully this isn't an issue when I am able to afford an upgrade to the latest version soon. Seems a rather odd little bug.
Thank you again for giving me such an easy solution.
