Hi.
VS 2019 "Scorefitter" Music volume not adjustable.

I want to adjust the volume of "scorefitter" music. I choose a certain percentage. Again and again, this value jumps back to 100%. This does not happen with other audio sources. Is that known?

So the question of a forum member.

I don't normally use Scorefitter music. But I have just opened it and added a piece to the music timeline. I also added an mpeg-4 video to the main timeline. When I select/highlight the music clip, I can access the volume control: see image.

I lower the volume from the default 100 to what is shown (red arrow -- 56). I play the clip in Clip mode and the level stays at 56. I adjust the view to Project mode and I lose sight of the volume control. But when I play the project in Project mode, the music appears to stay at the lowered rate.

It might be helpful if your user could describe in a little more detail exactly what he/she is doing.

I could understand the problem of the user. He is concerned with readjusting the sound volume on the timeline. In my example, I too could circle the mistake. Example as follows,

Original sound, scorefitter music, sample music one soundtrack each. Further procedure: right mouse click on the track to be set, in the context menu select "Adjust volume". Continue to set new parameters and save. Reopen "adjust volume" and check parameters. O-Ton and also sample music have kept the new parameters whereas Scorefitter jumped back to 100%.

in X9 the same, but not if you on sound mixer view, there it will stay at your %.
But the best way in using Scorfiter is to use the actual wav file and not as is. that way one free to use/trim it as any other sound file.

I have to keep on threading and come back to Ken. A sound track volume with right mouse button and further in the context menu is the one option and should work. Also for scorefitter.

Opening the Sound Editor with a double-click on a sound track content is a second thing - and has success. And with that we are at Ken sample above. If the volume parameters are changed there, they retain their value. Even after restarting CVS2019.
Guys, thank you for the successful discussion. But the setting in the context menu still remains a bug and has been reported.
