I recently upgraded to VS 19 Ultimate. It is constantly crashing and not able to render. Since upgrading I can't open a project on my older version VS x10. Is there a way to save the project on VS 19 so that I'm able to open it on VS x10?
Thanks

Hi
Yes you can save the project for earlier versions
From File – Save As – give the file a new name, I usually add X10,
Below the File name is Save as Type gives options for earlier versions.
Providing you have not used edits that only 2019 supports it should be ok.
For your crashes, you should contact Corel Support to report this issue.

Re: saving for older VS
I have a problem here, too. I finally uninstalled CVS 2019 because it just does not work but crashes all the time. Before uninstalling I did save all my unfinished my projects for CVS 2018. The problem is that CVS 2018 Ultimate just does not open my VSP-files. It gives no message why, VS looks like it is opening the file, I wait but then VS just crashes. Is there anything I can do (except re-installing CVC 2019)?
Regards

Hi Raikku
There was a problem in saving for 2018 I had assumed that had been fixed
You have to save for X10 then the project will open using 2018, go figure
As you have uninstalled 2019 you cannot do that.
If you zip your project and attach to your post we can open using 2019 for you, save for X10 and return the VSP.
We will not be able to see your files, just a re-link request that we ignore, then Save As for X10
How many project file need to be saved

Re: saving for older VS
Hi Lata
Thank you for your prompt answer.
Well, I re-installed VS2019 again. Now I have both VS 2018 and 2019 on my laptop. I know, it means trouble but I am in trouble with CVS anyway already. I saved my project for CVS10 but the result was unfortunately the same, it looks like CVS 2018 is opening the file but the minute it is supposed to appear, CVS just disappears, again.
