Does anyone know what "restore original" means?

Or what it does? I have looked in the Help file and have done a web search, to no avail. And no I do not mean "Revert" -- they have different icons. Explanation?

Yes, if you use auto-preserve when saving PSP creates a hidden folder with an original version of your file in it before overwriting it with your saved changes. When you use "Restore Original" you're overwriting the new file with the original restoring it to its original condition pre-saved edit.

While Revert simply discards un-saved changes inside PSP by closing the image without saving and then automatically re-opening the image.

Thank you. Not only is it just what I needed, your answer explains why I have never run into this. What probably no one outside Corel can explain is why this is not in the Help site.
