Changing Materials from Pattern back to Color
This should be simple for a long time user, but I'm stumped. In the Materials palette I clicked the little dropdown arrow by the button that had the tooltip Color and clicked on the Pattern button from the dropdown. I did that for both background and foreground. But I can't get the foreground and background swatches to change back to solid color. As you can see from the screenshot, they still show a transparent background with dots. What am I missing here?

Re: Changing Materials from Pattern back to Color
It could be, but it doesn't change the fact that I cannot get back to solid color for those swatches.hartpaul wrote:Could it be the texture button that is turned on?
EDIT: I found the solution by reading a solution to an inssue in a recent thread just now - but modified it for myself:
viewtopic.php?f=56&t=65830#p370754
Because I wasn't dealing with a new page opening, I just clicked on one of the recent color swatches to the left of my swatches that were showing a texture - regular click for the foreground color and right click for the background color swatch - and they became solid colors. Originally I had been trying to select a solid color from the color wheel dialogue and that hadn't worked.
