Thank you, I appreciated your reply. I have tried that and I don't see any difference between the image in the "after image" and the image in the "edit windows" (if I select preview on image) even thou I force the levels all the way left or all the way right (to force clipping). But lets hope Corel add my wish to the list of things to do for a new release. Thanks.

I also wish it had the ability to edit plugin menu within PSP by right clicking.

Let's see if I can explain what I would like to see; I am an artist and I use PaintShop Pro 2020 to draw digitally. My problem is a lot of times I have 50 layers or more in my layer palette. I have customized tools at the top and the bottom of my layer palette and I don't know if that makes a difference, but when I want to use any of the tools I have added, they are all greyed out when I first draw a vector layer. I have to go looking for that vector layer and then click on it before my tools will become active to use. It would be much better if I could just go to the tool I need instead of first having to go find that layer (highlighted or not it is still a pain to find), for instance I draw a strand of hair and I want to move that strand up or down in the layer palette, I have the two tools "move layer up" or "move layer down" that I added through customize to the layer palette, but they are greyed out until I go find the layer and click on it. That is just one example of time wasted looking for the layer I just drew, there are others, and like I said, I need the ability to just use the tool, without having to first go find it.

Also, I don't know if it's possible, but to NOT have to click on my canvas to get my tools to work, like when I go over to my layer palette, and move a layer up in the palette, and then I have to go back to my canvas and I have to click on the canvas before my arrow keys will move that layer around on my canvas. I know that seems minor, but when you work with a bunch of small objects on a canvas, being able to move them one pixel at a time is important for getting the object in just the right spot. Time really adds up when working with a lot of small parts. Having to click on or activate the canvas before I can move the layer is time consuming. I use a lot of hot keys, shortcut keys and such, so that my time drawing is shortened as much as possible.

Thanks for taking a peek
Marilyn

I am using PSP 2018. My previous favorite (for years) was PSP 7.04. One thing one could do with the Crop tool in PSP7 was to double-click on the tool and have the precise boundaries of the Crop rectangle there for one to specify. Today, one must go to the Selection tool, select the "Custom selection" option, select what one wants to crop, move to the Crop tool, select "Snap crop rectangle to: Current Selection," then perform the crop. It was much easier the old way.

I do not care how it is done, but I would like to see a precision/definable crop in the Crop tool.
Had PS3, PSP3; Installed: PSP-4.12, 5.03, 6.02, 7.04 (liked it a lot & used it for years), 8.00, XI, x4.3.0.3, x6.2.0.20, x7.4.0.11, x8.3.0.13, x9.2.0.7; now using PSPx10 (PSP 2018; version 20.2.0.1 x64) on Win 10-64 b2004.

Get rid of the "Organizer" tray and give me back PSP Browser. It's so much easier to see a bunch of things in a window because some times I'm wanting to compare things in a folder I'm working on but cant with the Organizer tray method.

- No Ads at all.
- No Internet requirement.
- Speed!!!! Working with more than 4 layers and masks is really painful since PSP XI (year 2006). Half of the time I still work with PSP X because of that.
- Stability.
- Even more stability!
- Support for Photosphere images, like Photoshop.
- Automatic best colorization autodetecting photo (people, streets, night sky, fields, mountains...).
- Use of AI to improve, restore or automatically colorization of old photos.
- Use of AI to resize, improve resolution and quality of photos.
..
- And add automatic functions that is today doing smartphone apps (like Faceapp, face detection, beautify, swapping faces, aging faces, renewing, changing hair, skin color, eyes...), but better, faster and with more options.
