Sepia Toning
How do I add sepia toning because when I select this I get the message that format is not supported

Try this.
1. Load a simple jpg image into your PSP X6
(I had to look that up as you did not mention that in your post asn you do not have that information in your profile over to the reight or your signature at the bottom of your posts.)
2. do Effects > Photo Effects > Sepia Toning
Does that work?
Or if you don't have a simple jpg. make a new document and put some picture tubes on the page and then repeat steps 1 and 2 above.

I ask you to do this as any image that loads into PSP is present as a bit mapped image - it is not a tif or a png or even a pspimage, because you can save it as anyone of those image types, so the "format not supported " or similar errrors is more likely to happen when you first try and load the image , not after it is loadad and you try and do something with the loaded file.
Can you say what type of file you are trying to load?

I've got it now.
Although they were jpg files their properties require special permissions.
