Runtime Error R6025

Post by Zantara »

Image

One of my members is a tester for a PSP tutorial writer. The tester is getting this specific error message when trying to open a pspimage file, send by mail.

Does anyone have any idea why this happens. The pspimage opens fine in PSP 2018.

So the image opens fine in PSP 2018. What version of PSP cannot open it?
Had PS3, PSP3; Installed: PSP-4.12, 5.03, 6.02, 7.04 (liked it a lot & used it for years), 8.00, XI, x4.3.0.3, x6.2.0.20, x7.4.0.11, x8.3.0.13, x9.2.0.7; now using PSPx10 (PSP 2018; version 20.2.0.1 x64) on Win 10-64 b2004.

Thanks for replying. And sorry for the omission. Not very clear at all.
It only occurs in PSP 2019.

Normally I would infer that. But PSP 2020 came out yesterday.

So the tester is checking if the pspfile can be opened with different versions of psp(presuming the tutorial writer is writing the tutorials for different earlier versions of psp.)
Can you get the tester to ask the tutorial writer what versions of PSP the file has saved as being compatible with, and what version the tester saved their pspfile from.
eg did they use PSP2019 and save as compatible to which particular earlier version.

@Hartpaul...that's useful. I should have thought of that, myself. Thanks.
I actually know the tutorial writer. Both tutorial writer and tester are members of my forum. I'll ask.

UPDATE: the tutorial writer saves pspimages PSP 7 compatible as quite a few of her visitors use older versions. The tester saves pspimage as PSP 8 compatible.
And I mean the old Jasc 7 and 8, like your exampel (thanks)
I have asked both to set their compatiblity settings to the same one and then see what happens.

Any other suggestion, Paul?
