2020 Ultimate, fixed for 4k monitors?
I just got the first advert for 2020 Ultimate today. Unless they've fixed it for my 4k monitor I won't be upgrading. Too cumbersome to constantly squint for undersized grips among other icons too teeny to grab with mouse pointer.
Any workarounds?

I guess it depends on how big your 4K monitor is. Mine is 32". With the possibility of increasing the size of text, icons, scroll bars and nodes, I have no trouble navigating in PSP 2020. Have a look at the attached image. You could also download a trial version, increase the sizes, and see if they are OK for you.

I just left Corel's web site and 2019 is the only version available for download. Can you give me a link?

PSP2020 will not be on the Corel website until it is publicly released later this month. Currently it is being offered to customers through in-app upgrade offers. When you launch your current version of PSP are you being offered an upgrade?

I also get the popup when only Firefox is opened. PSP is closed.
Had PS3, PSP3; Installed: PSP-4.12, 5.03, 6.02, 7.04 (liked it a lot & used it for years), 8.00, XI, x4.3.0.3, x6.2.0.20, x7.4.0.11, x8.3.0.13, x9.2.0.7; now using PSPx10 (PSP 2018; version 20.2.0.1 x64) on Win 10-64 b2004.

Re: 2020 Ultimate, fixed for 4k monitors?
Hi Kathy,
Yes, I've been getting the upgrade offers for a few days. Nothing, though, indicating it would be a trial. What the heck, go for it. Get out my credit card, download, open it up and here we are.
For the sake of this thread it looks as if it's been fixed for 4k monitors. That's good.
I hate to say it but there may be some serious issues but I'll bite my tongue till I get a bit more experience with it. For what it's worth I'm using Win 10, 64 bit, on a Dell desktop with a Radeon 24" 4k monitor. The hardware is barely over a year old.
I'll post issues on more appropriate threads if, and when, they materialize.

Re: 2020 Ultimate, fixed for 4k monitors?
One of the biggest issues we see here is that people can't find things because the program starts in an unfamiliar workspace. If things look different and you can't find functions that used to be there go to File -> Workspace -> Complete and things should look normal.

Re: 2020 Ultimate, fixed for 4k monitors?
PSP should start in the Complete workspace, with the Option to "simplify" on a splash screen. This starting in a dumbed-down interface is killing this app.

Re: 2020 Ultimate, fixed for 4k monitors?
This is another thing that was suggested in the Wish List and complained about frequently on this board. And another user complaint and suggestion that Corel has ignored. I guess that shouldn't surprise anyone.ehume wrote:PSP should start in the Complete workspace, with the Option to "simplify" on a splash screen. Yes - a huge issue complained about frequently and resulting in many unnecessary posts from confused users. This information should be in a sticky.Kathy_9 wrote:One of the biggest issues we see here is that people can't find things because the program starts in an unfamiliar workspace. Yes - This information should be in a sticky, if the devs do not make the Complete workspace the default.JoeB wrote:Yes - a huge issue complained about frequently and resulting in many unnecessary posts from confused users. Re: 2020 Ultimate, fixed for 4k monitors?
Since my original question I bought 2020 and have had a chance to put it through its paces.
As to adjustments relative to text size, node size, icon size, and scroll bar size -- they were already available in 2019. Oh, well.
Two other visibility issues remain, however, especially when it comes to higher resolution monitors like mine, 4k. I will show screen captures to illustrate below.

Re: 2020 Ultimate, fixed for 4k monitors?
The ruler is my main complaint. See attached image. In it, the ruler probably looks about the same size as fatfreek's. And in reality, on my 4K 32" screen, it is so tiny as to be almost totally useless... Hopefully, Corel will add it to their list of increased sizes!

I have similar issues with visibility of the ruler markings in PSP 2020 on 4K monitors.
