How to create subfolders when Managing Folders

Can someone tell me how to create a subfolder to store photos. I have many related folders but can't seem to figure out how to tuck one folder inside another, or create a broad topic folder into which I drop all related ones.

Could you update your profile? We don't know which version of the program you own.

In PSP 2019, in Manage workspace, click on Collections and right-click on a folder. You will have an item named "Create new Folder".

You may also do it in Windows Explorer.

Some of us don't bother using the Collections tab in Manage mode but only use the Computer tab. That way we can create any folders and sub folders we wish in Windows Explorer, named as we wish (usually with date plus content/event names) and access them at will, move them and/or their contents around with Windows Explorer at will, etc. Some people have found that, with very large Collections, the Manage mode slows down considerably in cataloguing and re-indexing the files and folders in the Collections folders.

I don't know about my colleagues, but I go back almost 40 years in personal computers. I have been using Paintshop since soon after it was released on floppies as shareware. I have always used the OS to do my heavy lifting, whether it was Apple or Windows. Simply open the folder you are playing in, and make all the new folders you want. You do not make them in PSP. When you open Paintshop Pro it will see all your new folders.
