It's OK now -- I have downloaded the file and cut out a 30 second part of it. And yes, I can certainly see the shimmer both on the road side sign and on the buildings. That was playing the clip in both Clip and Project modes. I could not set the Project Settings to 4K so I chose H.264 1920 x 1080.

However, interestingly enough, when I went to Share, and chose Same As First Video, which of course uses the original 4K settings, the new video was quickly produced. And it did NOT have any shimmer in the VS screen. It also played perfectly, just like the original, in an outside player (I use VLC player).

In other words, I suggest you do your editing, then do what I did and Share using Same As First Video. See my attached image if you're unsure where to find it.

Thanks for your help and patience
Why are you converting the 4K HD video to low quality DVD video? With the amount of quality reduction required it is no wonder you will get all sorts of distortion.

Hi
Canuck, Jerry is not converting to DVD, the image shows his project properties by default which need changing to 4K settings
The show messages did not kick in as the video does not have an audio stream, so PP remained as DVD.

Jerry
Same results as Ken
I was able to play the video using VLC and MP classic both played ok, good quality, very small shimmer across the buildings at 3 minutes.
Video Studio clip and project playback being very poor.
You should change your project properties from the DVD to 4K, that should help a little -- I used the online option
Not sure why Ken could not find the 3840 x 2160 frame size?

Settings Project Properties or Alt+ Enter

Online - New
MPEG-4 Files
24 bits, 3840 x 2160, 29.97 fps
Frame-based
H.264 Main Profile Video: 65000 Kbps, 16:9 (appears the limit is 65000)
44100 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo
MPEG AAC Audio: 128 Kbps

I also rendered to Same as First Clip, which played well using my media players, but again a little poor using Video Studio
