How do you remove a piece of orange yarn from a piece of glass(it's window from a glider plane). I'm at a loss.

Hello oiansnuk and welcome to the forum. Since your profile lists PaintShop Pro as the product you are using I've moved your post from Imaging to the PaintShop Pro section of the forum.

It would help to post the image in question so others can better assist you.

For the orange stripe you can try using the scratch remover tool, which is in the flyout with the Clone tool. I would suggest that you first use the Clone tool to try to remove the white glare area to the right of the orange line, then the scratch remover for the orange line.

As JoeB suggested :
Scratch remover tool
Clone tool
Fill Light Clarity
Tone Mapping

Done on your image which is small and shows JPG artifacts (too much compression). Should be better working on the original.
