Re: Name change in batch
I must say, I have never tried to change a batch of names from inside PSP; Windows is so easy. I import a collection of images from a camera. Say they are Named p9876.jpg, P9876.rw2, P9877.jpg, P9877.rw2, etc. I then do a ctrl-A (selecting all), then an F2 (rename). Even though it only shows action in one file, it changes the name of all of them, up to many, many files (I have never maxed this out). The result is Name (1).jpg, Name (1).rw2, Name (2).jpg, Name (2).rw2, etc.Theo van Rijen wrote:I cannot change name in batch of foto. See error message in annex

It's batch rename, respecting differing file types. This is why I do not look to apps like PSP to do batch rename.
Had PS3, PSP3; Installed: PSP-4.12, 5.03, 6.02, 7.04 (liked it a lot & used it for years), 8.00, XI, x4.3.0.3, x6.2.0.20, x7.4.0.11, x8.3.0.13, x9.2.0.7; now using PSPx10 (PSP 2018; version 20.2.0.1 x64) on Win 10-64 b2004.

Re: Name change in batch
You are right : it can be done in Windows but since it is a function within the program I tried that first.
Thanks
