Past week PSP locks up w/ Magic Wand

I don't know if this issue is because of a Windows update because it's PSPX6, PSPX9 and PSP 2019. But when I use the magic wand to pick out a transparent area of a layer the whole program freezes and I get the error: Input tracker ... unhandled exception ... reset target to NULL.

The only way out is to end PSP through Task Manager. Not only do I lose any unsaved changes but because the file is set to NULL I can no longer work with it and at least pick up where I last saved. This just started happening Monday July 8th and as I said, it's all my versions so I am thinking something is not jiving with a Windows Update. Corel please fix. I am tired of losing all my work several times a day!

I have had a similar problem with PSP 2018. It can take Task Manager to kill it over the past day. Thought it was just me.

Well that's two of us LOL

No problems here . Tried PSP 2019 and PSP X6 .
Made a new transparent document. Used Picture tube tool to place an image in the centre.
Then Magic wand tool
Mode Add,
Match Mode RGB,
and Contiguous checked .
Also tried with Match Mode at None, Opacity, Color
No freezing up.
I am using Windows 10 however and you guys are on Windows 8 and 7 so wonder if Microsoft is trying to give you a push to upgrade or not being so thorough in their compatibility checks.

Ok I guess I have to update my info because I'm running Windows 10 not 8.
