PiP in VideoStudio 2019 ?

Hello,

I have a problem with the picture in picture effect in VideoStudio Ultimate 2019.

I put the effect on video / picture in track 2, the video / picture is scaled down but with a black background!
How do I get the background of Track 1?

you need to switch places, in VS the background should be in the "video" track and the pip in the overlay .
go to youtube and view few basic VS tutorials

The PinP Fx filter also needs a Chroma mask to remove the black background
Double click the tree clip to open the options panel
Select Mask & Chroma Key
Tick Apply Overlay Options
Type -- Mask Frames
Choose the full rectangle mask, scroll down the list, I see it in left column, 4 up.

Mind you may be best to use Customise Motion to create the effect. No additional mask required
Right click the tree clip for context menu.
