PSP 2019 over 50 fixes, where are they

Post by jukka »

I just got an ad to upgrade to psp 2019 and was really curious of those 50 fixes

are they listed on somewhere because i could not find them.

And psp have had years and years many annoying features that makes me want to invest in photoshop.

like

- toolbars cannot be locked
- hdr merge, you cannot drag and drop files, but only to youse that awful open-window
- photo manager: when you adjust some photo in folder of 400 photos and go back, it scrolls to top, you loose the point of which photo you need to adjust next
- lasso tool and others, cannot pan the image with keyboard (or was it mouse) when having zoomed in. Panning is really difficult and slow
- text tool.. so awful
- and the new save option was also not good

and many others...

are these fixed ?

I haven't found a lot of changes between x8 and x10 (2018) except for iconsize, which I use. Since you are using x11 (2019) you can tell us what changes you have seen from x8.

I'm interested OFFICIAL ANSWER from corel that what are these secret 50 fixes !

And also, do they match at all of my "worst features" list that's in the 1.st post

I do already see comment that the brushes are back, which is good.
I remember some vesion 10 years ago, psp 7 maybe and psp X3 that was full of brushes.
And what dissapointment when corel just ditched them few versions ago and put them to extra-pay-more pack.

If you want an official answer from Corel then you will have to contact them directly. This is a user forum, rarely visited by Corel persons and even more rarely commented in by Corel. And good luck with that because I doubt that you will get an answer from them.

Included in those fixes are things discovered and rectified during the Beta test. The Beta Test Non Disclosure Agreement doesn't permit to comment more about this.

1. You may still use the old brushes in the current PSP versions.
2. You may create your own brushes in PSP.
3. You may use PhotoShop brushes in PSP.
4. You may import free brushes found on internet.
5. You may also use Particle Shop.

You can copy brushes from directories under old versions of PSP and paste them into directories under current versions of PSP. I don't know about simply directing PSP to look in old directories because it will find duplicates, and loading + ignoring dupes may take time, depending on your system.

Download the trial version. It is the full version, free and will run 30 days.
Do all your tests and then make an opinion.

Thank you for your answers

I really don't want to use my time to find out new features and fixes, they should be trutfully listed in the website and not hidden.

re-checked my brushes now and i had already copied them from old old version, and it's plentiful :)
but rarely used tough..
