ridiculous bug

Just upgrade to VS 2019 and found a ridiculous bug on the main timeline, when i place a transition btw clip 1 and clip 2, after that i cant split the clips anymore, a msg pop up " encountered an improper argument ! What the heck ?

Seem i have to stay corel X10 2018 for a long priod from now on

I do not get your bug - it works correctly for me. I place a transition between 2 clips and can split either clip as many times as I want - no bug

Perhaps if you gave more detail on what you are doing ....?

same here, no errors when splitting clips after adding transitions.

Thks for the feedback, but i am really encounter that problem, test it several time, restart with different file...maybe i have to updated, coz i have an old version of CVS 2019

What type of transition, maybe it's a particular type, or does it error with any transition

How are you trying to split clip? Scissors, from the menu ?

Go to help, check for updates, should find the latest service pack if not already installed

Cross fade transition, cutting with scissor below screen preview, today i just got another problem, cannot aply text with border/shadow/transparency, the same error msg appear again.

Do you have "ripple editing" enabled?

If so, you might be able to get around it by disabling it temporarily.

It's one of the numerous bugs I've encountered with this release.

Enable disable ripple editing the problem are the same
the blank timeline just left 1 text clip the error still there.

I have tried to replicate the error using Text and cannot do so, everything works ok

Can you create a new project, save the VSP containing the text, rename the VSP to use .txt and upload to your post
We can download, rename back to VSP and open to see if it errors on our pc’s
(The forum will not except files with .VSP)
otherwise zip the file.

I attach the file as you ask (the save file just a text only no other thing in the timeline), hopefully got a solution for the error.

Glad you managed to fix this issue
Not sure what the last image showing the text editor has to do with it
I did download both files, unzipped and was able to open using 2019 with no issues.
