Hello,
I'm using the Video track and 1 overlay track. I'm using the overlay track to put in titles to caption my photos and videos in the video track. Is there a way to group or link the title overlay with the photo/video it's captioning? I often go back and add a title to a previous photo or maybe add a photo and it pushes everything in the overlay track back by the length of the caption and then no longer aligns with the photo/video it's supposed to be captioning. Drives me bananas
I hope this made sense.
Thanks for the help!

Re: Linking Overlay Track with Video Track?
If you had read the user guide you would have seen that VS has a feature called Ripple Editing, which is what you are after. If you look to the immediate left of the main track and overlay tracks you should see a tiny icon which reminds me of a paper clip but I guess is supposed to represent two links in a chain. See my attached image where the red arrow is pointing. If you hover your mouse over it it should say "Enable/disable ripple editing". Click on that icon in the main timeline track and it should enable all those in the overlays below. This should let you do what you are after.

Re: Linking Overlay Track with Video Track?
Thank you. I will look at the User Guide first before posting. Sometimes it's difficult to search the terms you are looking for. i had no idea it was called Ripple Editing. I did try googling it but didn't get to these answers. Thanks!
