Many many thanks. this does sound very promising. Downloading the patch now, I'll give it a try in the morning and see how she goes.tyamada wrote:This link may help with the OOS problems.

As I said in the other post, when creating DVDs with the new patch all my projects are in sync now.
Since my previous post I have created over 25 DVDs that are all in sync.

Hi NoM.0
A little more info:-
I have just looked at the create video file stage within video studio, interestingly you can select s bitrate greater than 8264.
The max I found was 14000kbps by selecting Mpeg 2 as the compression media type.
I certainly believe that figure now.
If you select Mpeg 2 the settings are expanded allowing you to create your own files that MAY NOT be dvd compatible.
When you capture to dvd-mpeg YOU have to set the capture properties.
Relying on the default settings will cause problems.
From the Capture tab/ format Dvd.
Capture tab / options/video and audio property settings…/ dvd / advanced
Modify the settings to:-
MPEG files
24 Bits, 720 x 576, 25 fps
Upper Field First
(DVD-PAL), 16:9 (assuming you are using wide screen)
Video data rate: 8000 kbps (for up to 60 minutes)
Audio data rate: 256 kbps
Dolby Digital Audio, 48 KHz, 2/0(L,R) or Mpeg 2 Audio
You can view these settings in the information panel below the preview screen.
Use the above settings to capture / edit / create video file / burn video file.
I think you may be best by capturing your footage again using the above settings through-out.
Start again and next time you say 14000 I will believe you.
All the Best
Trevor
