The Audio from Camera 2 is not acceptable.
I did re-encode and start over. Same problem!
Camera 1 and Audio is in Sync in the MCE. As soon as the MCE-project is imported to VS, the Audio and Video are out of sync.
Can't solve the issue. Might need to use Shotcut for this project, because a test import/export in Shotcut did not cause any Sync issues... Originally I bought VS again, mainly becasuse Shotcut did not have Keyframes, now it does. So I might give it another try. Another disadvantage in Shotcut (with my setup) is, that the playback within a project can become very laggy and that Shotcut does not (easyly) support Proxy files (yet). VS definately is better here. I hovever did re-encode the originals again to make them faster to decode for Shotcut. This did improve performance. Might even create "own" proxy files with same resolution, but low bitrate for editing/cutting. We'll see.

Re: MultiCamera Editor Sync issue
Hi
I do not understand why it is in sync within MCE yet when you open the same VSP on the timelines it is out of sync
MCE is just a more capable trim tool, the same as using Multi Trim Video except it allows us to select which clip to use from the various recordings.
When we close MCE a project file is placed within the library, drag that to the timeline should be the same as viewing within MCE
We can check the sync on the timeline, then double click the vsp within the library to open that in MCE to again compare the sync.
I asked earlier if using the audio from each recording caused any issues.
I realise the camera 2 audio is poor but if you do use audio from each clip (Auto) it has to be in sync even though poor quality.
Don’t understand and confused, must be missing something?
If you place the clips on the main edit timelines using the top and overlay tracks for camera 1 and 2, you can manually sync the audio
Viewing in Sound Mixer will show the wave form making sync a little easier
Are you able to sync the beginning and ends of the clips or is the audio changing as you play the clips.
Once you have them in-sync, hitting the scissors will cut both timelines (project mode), delete the unwanted bits from the overlay track
Mute the overlay tracks clips.
Are you able to do the above, a manual sync and cut/delete, should be the same results when using MCE
