Watermark? Nothing like any watermark I've ever seen elsewhere (a logo or similar). But if you mean that "enter text" print over the top of the balloon, it was present on every version I tested (x10, 2018,2019). Since the filter is about text/titles, I took "enter text" to mean I should be entering some text for the filter to work on.

I could enter text normally, but as soon as I dragged the Nb titler pro5 filter onto it, crash.

Hi David
Please view the image on my original post

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=65616#p369280

The FX and a cross-hair can be seen on your image from X10 in addition to the Enter Text
Yes it is a little difficult to see over the balloon, but it is there.
The Enter Text is normal when using NBTP5

If you were able to use NBTP5 without crashing you would be able to change the background to make the FX more noticeable

I also get the watermark in X10 but not in 2018 or 2019. No crash in any of them.

Trevor,
Yep, it's there. So faint tho that it took a lot of close peering to see it. Your eyes are obviously better than mine

Inconsistent performance between machines - like this, but I can nominate several others just off-hand - doesn't do a product image any good. I appreciate how they may be hard to track down by developers, but they exist, are accumulating (what seems to happen in one version carries over the the next) and at some time will really bite Corel on the ***.

Prevention is always better than cure. Asik has been campaigning for Corel to address this for years. Cleaning these faults up can even be marketed well with the right approach.

Hi Davidk
just notice on one of your previous inputs:

""- enter some text in the text track, and drag the titler pro5 filter icon onto it: the thumbnail shows the filter present fx symbol, and immediately VS crashes: get the windows messages 'vs has stopped working" followed soon after by the message to search for cause and close the app.""

Titler Pro 5 input should be on a video/overlay track (video or image) not the text track, if how I read you comment is correct.

No Water Mark on my Titler Pro 5 in VS2018.

Fair enough, Trevor's test was in an overlay track. But filters can be applied to text in the text track, I've done it many times. So if titler pro 5 isn't supposed to be in the text track, it's misnamed.

Hi Guys
I missed the point regarding Text clips + NBTP5 sorry
Yes I can confirm that the program crashes when using Text.
Whether we should be allowed to add NBTP5 to a Text clip? I do not know, if No then the program should show a warning to that fact and not just disappear.

By the way my overlay issue was when using PNG images, I did use Jpeg without crashes

Confirmed Trevor's point about jpg images, they don't crash VS whether in the timeline or an overlay track. But the time it takes to get NB titler pro 5 started is just ridiculous.

The time for this tool to react has always been very slow, i am sure been mentioned may times over previous years
Yes i know this version is new to 2019 but earlier versions were just as slow, there are of course other filters that are also slow.
