I work in a pc-store and we have a customer that bought Videostudio 9 and he couldn't get it to work so he called a swedish representative for ulead who said that videostudio 9 doesn't work with XP servicepack 2 and told him to uninstall Servicepack 2...and he did...and now nothing works as it should on his PC.
Is it really true that Videostudio 9 doesn't work with SP2???
In that case it's really a piece of crap.....otherwise you really should educate your sales-representatives in Sweden.
The "tip" he gave are going to cost our customer much money to repair.
Would really like to hear your input in this matter.
Here's a question.

1. The "Swedish service rep" was, as you say, full of crap.
2. It 's not actually a piece of crap, actually its quite a good program but with advice like that I can see how you would easily think it was a piece of crap!
3. Unfortunately the "you" you are referring is not Ulead. "We" are just users of the program and have no connection to Ulead. This is a forum of VS users, although to some degree Ulead may watch what is posted.
I would suggest your customer uninstall VS9.
Re-install all the Windows updates available including video card drivers and DirectX to version 9c.
Then re-install VS9,
If they still have problems post them on this board and I am certasin that they can be sorted.
