I am new to Corel VideoStudio Ultimate 2019
I have added about 35 LUT's to the program and they are in the drop down menu.
I don't like any of them and want to FULLY DELETE them from the program. (Not simply remove the LUT overlay from the video)...
Remove | Delete the LUT's from VideoStudio Ultimate 2019.
Any suggestions?
John

Hi John
And welcome to the forums
I am not sure exactly what you have added to Video Studio, I assume you have added clips to the library, which library category?
If so simply selecting and delete will remove from the library
Select, Shift + Delete will also prompt you to remove / delete from the hard drive folder.
Right click most clips for Locate on Computer you may find useful
Can you take a snapshot and indicate what you are trying to do. Attach to your post

Re: Delete Unwanted LUT
Trevor -- as I understand it LUT means "Look Up Table", and they are sets of figures which help in colour control. But beyond that, I have no idea how you would add them to VS, and even less idea how to remove them... Not even sure where they would go...

..
LUT's which you have created are stored in - "C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\22.0\ColorAdjust\LUT " - I have never needed to delete any but I would assume you could just delete the ones in there that you do not want there are others in different folders under ColorAdjust some seem to create a new folder under Coloradjust called 'Basic' so you might need to have a quick look in all of them if you do not find one of your own

Re: Delete Unwanted LUT
Hi
Apologies for the confusing reply with my first post regarding lut files
New to 2019 lut profiles can be added to the colour correction section within the Options Panel – Color
By default uses the location shown by BJC
C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\22.0\ColorAdjust\LUT -- the default Working Folder
However Lut files can be added from any location using the Browse option, maybe Corel also need an option to removal the Luts
(Given that we can add lut files directly to our hard drive and use the Browse option could cause some confusion when removing those Lut Profiles
Correction – originally I was able to add files to the ColorAdjust/Lut folder and all showed in the Lut profile list, now I can only add via the browse option? Hmmm )
Video Studio Presets
Our own preset would save a file by default to the Working Folder ColorAdjust using .basic as its files extension other extensions could be used.
We are given the option to choose another folder location.
LUT’s downloaded from the internet as say Tweed 71.CUBE are added using the Browse LUT Profile from any folder location.
I found using LUT’s difficult unless I knew what the actual LUT effect was, else it’s a bit of trial and error.
I found it easier to use the sliders and save my own profile giving it a meaningful name.
