removing title from rendered video

Post by Victo+ »

After rendering a video with VideoStudio, the title is displayed at the front of the rendered video. Is there anyway of rendering without having the video title showing on the finishes product?
Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. But can you tell us, please, what the format of the video was, and what editing you did to it. For the format, right click on the video in the timeline and copy its Properties here. We need this sort of information to help us reach some sort of advice, since it is highly unusual (in fact I've never heard of it before) to have a written title appear at the start of a rendered video when it was not there to start with...

Very simple,
1- load the VSP , delete the title , render, ctrl-z to undo the delete.
2- disable the track of those titles , render, enable track.
3- If you don't have the vsp and just the result than load it to video track, look for the shot with that title > load to overlay1 the raw shot and sync it to the rendered one, it will cover that title.

Think you may have missed the point again Asik1

What are you using to play back your rendered video Victo+ - some software - notably VLC player and Windows 'Film and TV' shows the file name before playing - that is a function of the software not Videostudio - have you tried using Windows Media player ?

Thanks very much for such speedy replies. Ken, I will check out the format and copy its properties so you can have a better idea of what is happening. But I will also try running it with Windows Media Player.
Thanks again, all of you.

BJC may have hit the nail on the hear here

So after rendering the project a clip will be placed in the library
You can play that clip from the library using Video Studio
Does the offending text show when using Video Studio?
You can play in full size by selecting the “enlarge “ icon lower right of preview screen

It isn't new BJC that I'm missing the point... but this is a VS forum so I my answer is within VS.

Hi, I tried playing video using Windows Media Player and there is no annoying title. So it is down to the software I have been using to play videos and not the rendered video from VideoStudio. Many thanks to all who responded.

If using VLC Media Player, change your preferences:

Tools > Preferences > Subtitles/OSD > Uncheck Show media title on video start

Downloaded VLC and works very well with "show media title on start" unchecked. Many thanks.
