Project exceeds 10 hours

Project exceeds 10 hours
I am making a 35 minute video when I suddenly get a message that my project exceeds the 10 hour limit, in fact 10 h 21 m and 46 seconds. I have checked and there or no fragments in the 9 and a half hours but VS says my project is 68GIG.

Hi
What version of Video Studio are you using?
Like Asik I also can recall some similar problems, very rare though.
My first thoughts are that the project file is corrupt and it may be easier to start again, unfortunately.
One project did have a clip way down the timeline, being only 1 frame was difficult to locate, zooming into the timeline did not help as the clip was like a hairline.
It’s the 10hr reference that’s worrying.
Clutching at straws, but try saving the project to open with an earlier version
File Save As – Save as Type – choose another version.
Now try opening that file.
Can you create a copy of the VSP, then re-name to use .txt as its extension, that will allow you to attach to your post, not sure we can do anything but willing to try.
Generally a corrupt VSP project file is terminal.

Re: Project exceeds 10 hours
Try this - if you want a live screen capture (LSC), just ask.
1. Save your project as a new name (your copy).
2. On the Timeline, go to the end of what you want as the end of the project.
3. Add a 2 or 3 second long color chip (any color) to what you want as the end of your project.
4. Move to one second into the ending color chip then cut/split the project.
5. If the trailing protion after the split isn't selected, do so (select it) - it should be selected by default.
6. Delete the selected trailing section.
Now try to share/generate/publish the project and see if the time is correct.
