Popup text dialogue entry box

Hi

Been using PSP since version 3. Now on Corel 2018 Ultimate.

Feature I liked in PSP9 and before, the text box pop-up. This has appeared magically in 2018 but I cannot find how the hell I did it. Editing in-pic is too slow and cumbersome and the features like "remember text" option is not available on inline image editing. Hope the pics explain what I need it for, mostly doing music song covers with mp3tag.

1) Hold SHIFT when clicking with the text tool to bring the text box back.

While it doesn't help, I did want you to know that "Remember Text" is available via a toggle button on the tool options bar. It doesn't say "Remember Text" but it's there.

Thank you, it works. The remember text is more for remembering font styles and the schlepp of always having to select Ctrl+A for select all before pasting copied text from the other app.

Only reason I switched to 2018 is the glitch with Win 10 of not being able to drag and drop anymore, like all Corel products I use, the buy-out of the OEM designers, not much changed in functionality.

Being a veteran user of many of the products they now offer, the bling is not that impressive. If it ain't broke, don't fix it...

The preview in the vector is a waste as you can see it in pic like you always did.
