Sunburst Gradient moving center point

I checked through the topics and could not find anything that was about my issue on moving my sunburst gradient center point on a selection. I have created my own gradient on the materials properties dialog box and have positioned the center down low to give the effect of a light shining on a wall. I created a new selection layer. But when I go to apply the off center gradient to my image selection it places the sunburst or gradient center right in the middle of the selection. I cannot figure out how to move the center point around once it is placed in the selection. There is two boxes to move on the application line but they only change the gradient range. Nothing else to move the center point of the gradient There is also a circular arrow at the top of the gradient adjuster that does nothing obvious. Any ideas? Thank you.

Center points are not supported with the gradient fill tool. Use the normal fill tool instead.
