Adorage - Not all effects working - Red Chinese Screen?

Hey everyone,

Just want to start by saying Corel Ultimate 2019 has been nothing but issues from the start and I wish I never bothered upgrading. But alas, I am here seeking your help with Adorage as it does not load all the effects.

When I open up the transition, I have a few drop down options, such as "volume 9" which has some wonderful transitions inside, however, most are now missing and a red screen with what appears to show Chinese text appears. I can only presume it reads error.

I have gone into the adorage file and reinstalled it but that hasn't fixed the issue. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated

Not sure what you are doing here, but there is nothing wrong with Adorage effects, all load correctly

the preview screen shows the video you have selected in the timeline, where your Chinese image has come from, which it would be assumed is in your timeline is a mystery, what type of video or image do you have in the timeline, for which you are trying to add a filter

I too get these in both transitions and effects (Adorage). The video I use are two of the .wmv files that come with Videostudio 2019. An example is Volume 9 Stars 1,explosion....but there are others.

FWIW: The same thing happens with the Adorage in Cyberlink PowerDirector except the red screen is in English and says "error can't load image file".

Then that would indicate that the issue is not with Video Studio/CyberLink but with the filter itself, maybe you should contact ProDAD and explain the problem

If the image can't be loaded than your directories need to be sorted.
Reinstall Adorage.

I reinstalled Adorage with Cyberlink and it made no difference. Yesterday I reinstalled all of VideoStudio 2019 and it's components... that too made no difference. It seems all hands point to Adorage as being the culprit here.

I have been in contact with ProDaD. Their last email: "our engineering tried to analyze the problem. It seems to be complicated because there are no indications of problems".
The 'latest' version they sent me did not work either.

Strange reply, do you see that RED on any prodad's trans or just this star glitter things?
What happens once you click those 3 red's at the bottom? it should pop to select the source files for that transition.
If all OK they should be in
C:\ProgramData\proDAD\Adorage\Adorage-GfxDatas\mixer-image\Misc
C:\ProgramData\proDAD\Adorage\Adorage-GfxDatas\ado9\overlay-anim
settings.dat file is the master of all in C:\Users\____\AppData\Roaming\proDAD\Adorage folder
