How do I make the symbol in Rotopen point in the direction of travel. I know I did this before but cant seem to see how it works in the 2018 version.

There was a discussion a few years back about adding extra icons to the rotopen library - somewhere in the middle of the discussion is the location of the images - it is in X9 but must be possible to find the location for later versions as well - and how to make and use them - I would think you could copy the image you are using going the wrong way and use an image manipulation programme (Photoshop , Paintshop , Photo plus etc.) to flip it left to right and then put it back into Videostudio for use .

The previous discussion is here - - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=60420&p=333575&

just back checked and all the clip art used by Rotopen - even in 2018 are stored in sub folders here : - C:\Program Files\proDAD\HeroglyphRoute-4.0\clipart\

Thanks. I can already get the standard picture of the car or plane or whatever. In October 2018 when I last tried this there was a way of clicking on the car and the same car pointing in different directions appeared. This does not seem to happen now. I can only get the car pointing horizontally to the left, which looks a bit silly if I am following a route going south! I may have implemented an update to the 2018 software but have not installed 2019. I do'nt see how knowing the location of the files helps me, although I have located them where you said they were.

knowing the location of the files helps you to copy the image of the car - flip it in an external programme and then put the flipped image back into the folder and then add it to your project

for instance - car going one way
