VS 2018 - recover the welcome page?

There's been much discussion of the side effects that installing VS2019 had on VS2018. One of those was the (apparent) deletion of the home page - which should be there when the internet is connected, but on my current installation is not.
Current versions installed on my main machine are, and in both cases a check for updates shows "there are no updates available":
VS2018 - 21.4.0.165 --> welcome/home page icon not displayed
VS2019 - 22.2.0.396 --> welcome/home page icon displayed and usable

I can recall mention of a method to recover the welcome/home page icon for 2018, but I've been out of the loop travelling for 5 weeks, and I now can't find it. Can anyone tell me what it is?

Not sure that there ever was a solution for the VS2018 Welcome Screen, Since installation of VS2019, the Welcome Screen has no longer been available for VS2018

Hi Robert,
That's what I see. However, since that welcome screen is the Corel shopfront - where you pay $ for add-ons - for the software, it seems ridiculous that Corel has not fixed it. And coincidentally, I needed to use it recently. Thus the post.
