Rendering problem

Post by pepegota »

VS 2019 cannot render a 1920x1080, 60P file. It goes to 99% and hangs up. However, It can render 1920x1080, 60i and 1280x
720 , 60P without issue. I never had the need for 1920x1080, 60P but, now I have as my TV can handle 1920x1080, 60P.
Files were jpeg, wav and m2t-nothing exotic. Any one else experiencing this situation?

XAVC S MP4 HD (1920x1080, 60p, 20Mbps) worked for me.

AVCHD is the problem. XAVC MP4 HD (1920x1080, 60p, 20Mbps) works for me too. However, the XAVC does not play on the TV but, the AVCHD does.
PD renders without issue. I changed the bit rate to 20000 and it crashed leaving 75% of the video completed.

I just threw together a short (1 minute 20 second) project including mp4 and jpegs, and with background music. The video was PAL 50i and 25P and 1920 x 1080. I set it to render in VS 2019 to 1920 x 1080 at 60P (using Frame Based). It took an incredibly long time to render -- 54 minutes for an 80 second video. However, it did complete and plays properly.

I tried the old rename 22 trick and a similar video rendered completely and quickly. This is a mecurial program to be sure.
