Flood fill transparent layer problem

Post by marq101 »

Hello,

Hope one of you can help.
All of the sudden my PSP 2019 doesn't want to flood fill a new transparent layer. Opacity is at 100%
What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

Try resetting the flood fill too to default. Click the little down arrow beside Defaults and in the right hand margin click the Reset to Default button.

The only way I could stop the fill from working was to set the match mode to All Opaque.

Very interesting. When I was doing image manipulation for publication, I would use the Magic Wand first, stake out a zone and fill that with a left- or a right-click. Now I see that what I was doing all those years was unnecessary. Thanks.
Had PS3, PSP3; Installed: PSP-4.12, 5.03, 6.02, 7.04 (liked it a lot & used it for years), 8.00, XI, x4.3.0.3, x6.2.0.20, x7.4.0.11, x8.3.0.13, x9.2.0.7; now using PSPx10 (PSP 2018; version 20.2.0.1 x64) on Win 10-64 b2004.
