Videos emitted from VideoStudio Fuzzy on YouTube
Please don't flame me for posting a Youtube question here.. I'm sort of at my wit's end and looking for that elusive bit of info that I can't seem to find..
I'm creating 1080p 30FPS videos with VideoStudio, and this matches the spec YouTube says they accept. Yet the uploaded videos are often fuzzy in places, while I can see other people's videos at the same resolution are crystal clear.
Any insights on what I could be doing wrong in Video Studio?
Some have suggested waiting a few days for YouTube's background processing to do whatever it needs to do, but I'm seeing fuzziness on videos I created and uploaded weeks ago with Video Studio.

Don't you think a sample would help?

About 10 seconds in, I appear in an overlay and on my computer, where other youtube videos are crystal clear, my face often looks fuzzy and pixelated.

Just downloaded your 1920x1080 video clip and the downloaded video plays without any distortion or pixelationmichaelveloz wrote:Good idea:asik1 wrote:Don't you think a sample would help?

Also no problem when playing directly from youTube if playing the HD format clips. If I play the 360 or 480 resolution clips there is distortion in "your" overlay
At what quality setting are you playing the video?

You can specify the exact time in a URL, e.g. https://youtu.be/sdMMowOGH-o?t=10, which helps point people to exactly what you're referring to.michaelveloz wrote:About 10 seconds in
You look fine at https://youtu.be/sdMMowOGH-o?t=10 at 1080p but terrible at 144p which is what one would expect.michaelveloz wrote:About 10 seconds in ... my face often looks fuzzy and pixelated.

I do see a problem,
with what camera you shoot yourself?
It has low depth of field you should increase lights and close your iris more to get much more sharp foreground.

Re: Videos emitted from VideoStudio Fuzzy on YouTube
Michael, can you share just the overlay video of you? Need to see the source material you are using, nothing else. Can you upload a short clip to a share site?

Hey there I'm using canon g7x mark ii, which generally shoots pretty clear videos.asik1 wrote:I do see a problem,

Re: Videos emitted from VideoStudio Fuzzy on YouTube
So here's a link to a screen shot showing the overlay image on my screen vs the image shown on YouTube. May or may not be helpful so that you can see the difference in fuzziness I'm talking about: https://drive.google.com/file/d/186W9hc ... sp=sharinggewb wrote:Michael, can you share just the overlay video of you? And here's the overlay video itself: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1T9xgge ... sp=sharing

Re: Videos emitted from VideoStudio Fuzzy on YouTube
The difference that you show in this composite image is not representative of what I see when I view https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdMMowO ... tu.be&t=10 compared to the overlay video itself at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1T9xgge ... sp=sharing. In fact, I don't see much difference in terms of quality between your overlay and your video on YT.michaelveloz wrote:... you can see the difference in fuzziness I'm talking about: https://drive.google.com/file/d/186W9hc ... sp=sharing

Re: Videos emitted from VideoStudio Fuzzy on YouTube
Well that's good news! Maybe I should try YT in a different browser, or try the YT app itself. I just assumed that what I was seeing in the YT website in Chrome was what everyone was seeing everywhere... (Bad assumption, I know..)tletter wrote:The difference that you show in this composite image is not representative of what I see when I view https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdMMowO ... tu.be&t=10 compared to the overlay video itself at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1T9xgge ... sp=sharing.
