First I'd like to say that I just downloaded (the trial version) this program last night, and I really love it. This was my first time editing any kind of movie and it was very easy and straightforward. Thank you for a great product!
I downloaded a program called Video Studio 9 in an effort to take a bunch of clips I got of myself playing Battlefield 2 and stick them all togehter, synced with music. The program is great for editing existing files, I got them all the right size and in a good order and synced up with the music. The music file is in there too. All the small clips are .avi. The problem is that I cannot figure out how to save it as one big .avi (movie) file... It just saves as kind of a playlist... a .VSP file.
Could anyone help me? I feel really stupid for asking this.
Converting .VSP to .AVI

with your project in the timeline - click on "Share" (at the top) and then choose "Create Video File" - from the pop-up which appears choose 'Custom' if you wish to make an .avi file - then follow the prompts (including giving your new file a new name) and your individual clips will be rendered into one .avi file.
The VSP file is a Video Studio Project file and just keeps a record of all the cuts you make and the music you add etc. - it is NOT your video files.
