VS X10 has no way to edit the media drive source letter, and path, therefor, if upgrading to another computer with different drive lettering and path, makes Relink useless.
And thus requires huge amount of man hours to MANUALLY Relink, not acceptable today.
Please note, my flaming is NOT directed at anybody who is here to help.

Re: VS 10 Relink
Normally when you get the re-link message if you select the first one in the timeline , then browse to the new location for it and choose to relink everything in the same folder is automatically selected and a message should appear saying "all clips have been successfully re-linked' .
but problems may arise if all the clips are in different locations all over your hard - or external drive
I always make sure all my clips in one project are all in one windows folder , named after the project for future reference
what message do you get when you first open a project with un-linked clips

Re: VS 10 Relink
Thanks for that BJC, worked like a charm.
Does Corel have this documented some place ?
I know its not that complicated, but also not very intuitive.
Again, Thanks, BUG-EYED.
