Aftershot Pro 3 hangs on output

Aftershot Pro 3 hangs on output
Aftershot Pro 3 works fine for me when processing Canon CR2 raw files, but when processing jpegs the batch output queues hang. Sending one jpeg to any queue displays a progress of 0 of 1, sending a second bumps it up to 0 of 2, manually invoking Run on the queue gets me 0 of 3. It just freezes this way. Exactly the same behavior in Aftershot Pro 1. Anyone know what's happening here?
