"Drop Shadow" to a selection

Re: Wish List for PSP 2020
I would like to see a "Drop Shadow" to a selection, not limited to just text, similar to what Photoshop has. Adding a shadow to a newly inserted object is very cumbersome.

"Drop Shadow" to a selection
Perhaps you should first post a new topic in the forum asking if it is possible in Paintshop Pro to add drop shadow to a selection, because this topic is specifically to request features to achieve something that can't presently be done in PSP. I can add drop shadow to a selection in PSP, but if you are asking for something different from what I can do then you have to be much more specific about exactly what you are trying to achieve, and perhaps give info about how it is achieved in Photoshop for those who don't have Photoshop. But this is not the proper topic to clutter up with such a discussion.progman48 wrote:I would like to see a "Drop Shadow" to a selection, not limited to just text, similar to what Photoshop has. I used the Help function to find out how to do this. Dead simple.progman48 wrote:I would like to see a "Drop Shadow" to a selection, not limited to just text, similar to what Photoshop has. Adding a shadow to a newly inserted object is very cumbersome.

You can do that. Any selection can have a shadow added to.progman48 wrote:I would like to see a "Drop Shadow" to a selection, not limited to just text, similar to what Photoshop has. Adding a shadow to a newly inserted object is very cumbersome.
