In the past there were some reported issues with using fast write speeds, has anyone had problems when using max write speeds from disc image iso files to DVD? Also, is it wise or necessary to use" "Test before burning" ?

I don't think in our days and age you need to "Test before burning", but on the other hand I never burn at max speed. Are you in a hurry? do you need to burn 27 DVD's in an hour?
I burn at X4 or X8 .
I run "verify" after each burn.

Re: Disc image iso file to DVD write speed and test burn
I agree with asik1. I had some problems in the past with the highest burning speed, but the X7 is already very fast in preparation, and the time used for burning itself is not that important at all - so I also select the lower burning speed. ( I do not use the later versions of VS for disc burning - DVD and BR).
