What is upgrade policy?

Post by JohnFC »

I purchased & registered PS3 on 1 june 05.
Simply refuse to pay for an upgrade, as product is a heap of you know what.
I would guess this 'upgrade' is more of a product fix!

I don't even use it any more - wish I had never bought it and parted with my dollars!

Ulead let themselves down badly with non-existant 'customer service'
But they sure take your dollars quick smart.
Real 'hit and run' tactics.
No ethics.
Really peeved.

Why don't you try their technical support? :D I guess they are trying their best to solve many bugs these programs has. Due to numerous users, I guess they have difficulty dealing with these. ^_^

Customer Service has temporarily moved. You can find them here:

If you are having problems with the software, contact Ulead Tech Support. Go to http://www.ulead.com/tech/techsupport.htm and submit an email through the Techincal Support Form.

Tech support did respond and tried to help.
However the problem is not cured.

Other than being advised to clean out some registry entires, deleting temp files & directories, un-installing, re-installing and re-downloading the entire program again – that was the entire support contribution.

I have re-produced the exact same problem on three different machines – which makes me believe the issue is with the program and not the OS.

My real grip is
1 - The problem(s) is still there.
2 – No indication that the problem is fixed in the new release/upgrade.
3 – And lastly, that we are expected to accept this mediocrity, and then, when an upgrade comes out – less than 90days after one has purchased the product - to have to pay again. For what?

This is nothing other than a revenue raising exercise is the guise of a ‘new release’

Not on- There should be a commitment to FIX what does not work properly and give people what they have paid for.

Bottom line : School-fees - time to move on and forget the Ulead experience.

Having a real good look at Pro-Show Gold.
Looks good.

Thanks all
John
